Netball Positions Explained: Roles, Responsibilities and Key Skills

Netball is a fast-paced, team sport where every player has a specific role. Success depends on players understanding their responsibilities and working together across all areas of the court.

Each of the seven positions has unique attacking and defensive duties, with designated playing areas that contribute to the team’s overall strategy. Learning what each position does will not only deepen your understanding of the game but also help you develop your own skills on the court.
