The 13th Constellation Cup between the Origin Australian Diamonds and the New Zealand Silver Ferns will begin in Melbourne and Brisbane in October 2023.
The Diamonds will host the Ferns at Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Thursday, October 12, with support from platinum partner Visit Victoria. The second match will be staged at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Sunday, October 15, in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland.
The series will then cross the Tasman, with the final games in Invercargill and Auckland.

This is a must-see event for netball fans from around the world. The Diamonds and the Silver Ferns are two of the best netball teams in the world, and the rivalry between them is fierce.
In the 2022 series, the Silver Ferns won the first two tests on home soil before the Aussie Diamonds fought back in the last two tests to claim the series on goal difference.
General public tickets for the series go on sale on Tuesday, 11 July, at 12pm AEST, while fans in Australia can watch the whole series on Fox Sports and Kayo Freebies.
Australian Diamonds head coach Stacey Marinkovich was excited about the upcoming series.
“We love playing in Australia in front of a home crowd,” Marinkovich said.
“We hope to see sell-out stadiums in Melbourne and Brisbane when we host the Silver Ferns in what is known as one of the greatest rivalries in elite sport”.
The Victorian Government supports the Constellation Cup as part of Visit Victoria’s primary sponsorship of the Australian Diamonds.
“Victorians love the Diamonds, and we’re bringing them back to the home of netball for another massive game against the Silver Ferns at John Cain Arena,” Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Steve Dimopoulos said.
“We back major events like the Constellation Cup because they showcase our sporting heroes, attract visitors to Melbourne and support local jobs.”
